personal statement about this work, in order. (a) In my twenties, I was a photographer for Universal Music Group Distribution and for NYC nightclubs. (b) Drawn to documenting history in real time, I began capturing protests. (c) Studying abroad in Cape Town for six months broadened my perspective, and a short trip to Europe solidified my passion for photography. (d) Throughout my journey, I’ve photographed people from all walks of life, capturing moments of connection and movement.
